    Raven Announcements, February 7th, 2020
    1. We are well in our first week of February. This month we are SOARing with Respect & Responsibility. Raven Scholars SOAR by establishing, maintain, and restoring a climate of peace and safety. This means we respect others by being mindful of the impact of our words and actions. We maintain positive relationships, bravely speaking our truth and honoring other perspectives. We work for social justice by repairing the inequities in the world around us.
    2. As the National Black Lives Matter Action Week at School comes to a close, let the multiple read-alouds, the diverse scientists, the history lessons, and lunch activities we engaged in remind us all at Eagle Staff of our agency in building knowledge and awareness to further our collective in dismantling the racist structures that long embed institutions and policies. It is also Black History month as we celebrate African Americans in the past, present, and future.
