    Important Information

Now that you are aware of the high school open house dates and times, you can go over the information you learn about the schools together as a family and decide whether you will attend the high school in which you are assigned, or whether you will want to fill out a School Choice form to apply for a different school outside of your home area.

To find out what high school in which you are assigned, you will need your student’s birthdate and student number, and then go to the following website:

    https://www.seattleschools.org/admissions/registration/student_assignment/assignment_lookup_tool

    School Choice

If you decide that the school assigned to you does not meet your family’s needs, then you can apply to attend another high school through School Choice. The application will be open on the Seattle Public School’s website from February 1–19. Please note that February 15-19 school is not in session due to mid-Winter Break, therefore if you have any questions for staff at the high schools, try to have your questions answered before Friday, February 12.

The School Choice application will be available at this website:

    https://www.seattleschools.org/admissions/registration/school_choice

Please let me know if you have additional questions or concerns about high school transitions.

    Sincerely,

    Nancy Martinez
